It is the common opinion that credit cards are the best source of building the credit score and without its usage, it is not possible to do so. I tend to agree from the first part of the statement since credit cards offer you the flexibility of spending as per your liking and paying them back on your own terms. However, it is certainly not true that a person cannot build his or her credit score in the absence of a credit card.
Credit cards are an attractive option for the above mentioned purpose as they make the process a whole lot easier but their presence does not ensure a good credit score and neither does their absence out rightly take away your chance of getting a high beacon score. The key is to know the right measures that will take you there and help you achieve a credit beacon score that can be said as top notch.
I personally know people who have never taken a credit card yet have high credit scores and can go out and buy anything from a sofa to a brand new car to a personal jet on credit due to their strong history and high credit score. Now that is quite something.
