Cesare Casella
Chef Casella, the acclaimed New York Italian chef, is a man with many talents and achievements throughout his life. He is presently the Dean of Italian Studies at the International Culinary Center as well as an Executive Chef and partner of Salumeria Rosis since 2008. He is also the founder of The Italian Cooking School, which focuses on Italian cooking and culture, and Dean of the Italian Culinary Academy at the International Culinary Center in New York City.
To benefit others from his vast experience and knowledge in the art of culinary Chef Casella has written several books including his latest Fundamental Techniques of Classic Italian Cuisine, True Tuscan, Italian Cooking for Dummies and Diary of a Tuscan Chef.
Chef Casella has graduated from the Culinary Institute Ferdinando Martini.
In 2005, Chef Casella was also the owner and chef for the acclaimed Italian restaurant Maremma, which in 2006 was named one of the 5 best restaurants in New York by New York Magazine and was also honored with 3 stars by Forbes Magazine.
