John W. Thompson was the CEO of Symantec from 1999-2009 and is currently the chairman of the Board of Directors for the company. Before Symantec, he was associated with IBM. He has also had a chance to work with the Bush Administration on security of critical infrastructure. He holds a Master’s degree in Management Sciences from Sloan School of Management at MIT.
