This project last 6years. Thenafter joined Shell's trading floor in Dubai as products operators. Present Shell Intl Trading Middle East, Dubai Demurrage & Post Deal Analyst Commercial value addition- commercial savings derived from: a) analytical assessment of received claims b) provide cost exposure on demurrage/deviation/STS operations to traders to assist them reach commercial decisions c) Provide demurrage expertise to legal team as they negotiate contracts with existing customers and draft new contracts. • Calculate, negotiate and settle designated demurrage and post deal costs and recoveries for spot and time chartered vessels within the relevant contract terms and time frames. Handle all vessels sizes, MRs, LRs, Suezmax, Aframax and VLCC. • Analyze and settle other freight related costs and recoveries related to deviation. • Ensure accurate and timely entry of demurrage and shipping related costs (see above) into the various trading support systems (DEX/RADAR, etc) in line with relevant policies and procedures. • Ensure the timely payment of demurrage payables and receivables.
