If this is the case then you have come to the right place as this course will thoroughly cover all the aspects of Object-Oriented Programming in C++. This computer engineering online course will teach you key aspects of object-oriented programming using the C++ Standard Template Library (STL) of coding while also covering software development principles such as decomposition and component re-use. This 14-week course is open to both undergraduates and graduate students, but does not have any major prerequisites beyond your assumed knowledge of the C++ interface. You should also be prepared to complete ten modules, three individual assignments and one assessment.

In this course emphasis will be given on the following:

After completing this course students are expected to understand and identify the additional features of C++, identify and design suitable classes and class hierarchies and code robust class implementations in C++, design and program C++ programs using classes and class libraries, apply the principles of information hiding using C++ facilities for private and protected class attributes, employ C++ facilities for dynamic storage, employ C++ input/output facilities including sequential and random access files, employ C++ facilities such as operator overloading, templates, inheritance and dynamic binding to promote code re-use, program using the C++ Standard Template Library (STL) at an intermediate level.
